Tera Carissa Hodges is proud to be a member of CWIMA. Her media experience includes being a former media sales executive, formerly of GO Magazine, the in-flight magazine for AirTran Airways.
Because of her passion to inspire, currently, she has published several faith-based empowerment websites, including www.ilovemytestimony.com, www.influentialmamas.com, and www.successbullying.us. She also has a greeting card line in collaboration with Culture Greetings.
Her most recent media experience includes being a Gracies Awards judge in 2025.
Her books include "I AM: A Little One’s Guide to Affirmations," found on www.houseofcarissa.com, which promotes positive self-talk for young readers and is distributed by donation only to maximize its reach. She is also the co-author of “Your Story Sells” with legendary speaker Les Brown and “Mastering Wealth” Volume 1 with Grammy Award-winner Percy “Master P” Miller.
A passionate advocate for peace, Tera serves as an ambassador for the Institute for Economics and Peace, publisher of The Global Peace Index.
Previously, Tera’s women’s prayer for women in Corporate America was featured in Essence Magazine, and her voice was featured in The Bible Experience, the audio companion to The Bible series by Mark Burnett and Roma Downey on the History Channel.
