MAGDALENE is a passion project that has taken 7 years to come to fruition. The screenplay takes into account Biblical accuracy, history, archaeology and some creative license to fill in the details of every day life. I have been to the Holy Land twice to research Mary Magdalene's homeland. In addition, I have traveled to Mary's city of exile, Marseille, France, on a trip called The Way of Mary Magdalene. A companion book on Mary Magdalene's life has been written for the purposes of follow-up with audiences to participate with Bible Study Groups. Mary Magdalene was a Social Influencer and modern woman in ancient times who found healing and redemption in Jesus Christ. Her story can lead modern women to find the same.
