Karin Daniel is an award-winning television producer, media executive, creative strategist, consultant, and international connector with extensive experience in television production, programming, distribution, marketing, and global media partnerships.
She serves as Vice President of International Connections and Dallas Connect Leader for Christian Women in Media. A member of CWIMA since 2012, Karin joined the Advisory Board in 2015 and later became a member of the Executive Advisory Board. In her leadership roles, she is passionate about inspiring, equipping, and connecting women across cultures, generations, and areas of media influence. She leads the growing Dallas Connect community, creating opportunities for women in television, film, publishing, music, ministry, business, and digital media to build meaningful relationships and collaborate with purpose.
Karin is the founder and creative producer of Freesound Media LLC, a global media production and consulting company serving individuals, businesses, ministries, and organizations in the United States and Europe. Through Freesound Media, she offers creative and media consultation, helping clients clarify their message, develop their vision, and determine the most effective way to reach their intended audience.
Her production experience extends beyond television to include documentary-style productions, biographies, marketing and sales videos, promotional campaigns, brand stories, music videos, and other purpose-driven media. From initial concept and creative development through production, post-production, and distribution strategy, Karin brings together storytelling, strategic communication, and production expertise to create content that informs, inspires, and moves audiences to action. She currently serves as Executive Producer and Producer/Director of The Rachael Joy Show.
Earlier in her career, Karin served as an Associate Producer for the nationally televised LIFE TODAY program with James and Betty Robison. She later became Producer and Showrunner of Scandinavia Live with Edward John, one of Scandinavia’s long-running prime-time Christian talk shows. She has also worked as an international account executive for Scandinavian television networks, developing global partnerships and helping bring international Christian programming to audiences throughout Scandinavia and beyond.
Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, and raised in Norway, Karin’s multicultural background has shaped her passion for international ministry, cross-cultural communication, and using media to share the hope and love of Christ around the world. She is a graduate of Oral Roberts University and holds a master’s degree from Regent University.
Karin’s work has received recognition through several media and communications honors, including documentary, music video, and television awards. She has also been honored twice by Christian Women in Media with the Excellence in Communications Award.
Karin lives in McKinney, Texas, with her husband, Ramsey. They have two adult children and a granddaughter. Whether she is producing a television program, consulting with a client, developing an international partnership, or gathering women around a table in Dallas, Karin’s heart is to bring people together, elevate meaningful stories, and help others use their God-given gifts to make a lasting impact through media.
