HOLLYWOOD, CA — The Christian Women in Media Association (CWIMA) is pleased to announce the appointment of LeaAnn Pendergrass as the new Connect Leader for the Hollywood–Los Angeles Chapter. A New Season for the Hollywood Chapter

Pendergrass steps into her new role as CWIMA continues to grow its national network of city chapters, fostering connection, mentorship, and spiritual encouragement for Christian women in the media industry. Her first event as Connect Leader will take place Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Hampton Inn & Suites Los Angeles/Sherman Oaks (5638 Sepulveda Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA 91411). Themed “Authentic Leaders in Film & Media,” the gathering will feature keynote speaker Brenda Epperson — actress, recording artist, producer, and author best known for her role as Ashley Abbott on The Young and the Restless — who will share insight on faith-driven leadership in entertainment.

A New Season for the Hollywood Chapter

Pendergrass is the Founder of My Gathering Place International in Los Angeles, California, and the Founder of Calabama Lebanon Revival Center in Fort Payne, Alabama. She is also the Founder and Executive Producer of Uniting the Nations Broadcast, which reaches millions of homes worldwide and airs on the Holy Spirit Broadcasting Network (HSBN) and the Destiny Channel. In addition, she serves as Co-Host and Executive Producer of The Vision TV Show, bringing faith-filled conversations and biblical truth to a global audience.

A contributing author in The Commission, Redeeming the Screens, and Joyful Town, Pendergrass recently released her newest book, Spiritual House Cleaning, Discerning of Spirits & Personal Testimonies — with a foreword by Pat Boone — equipping believers in discernment, deliverance, and spiritual freedom. Called to preach in 1994, she is committed to advancing media that carries truth, healing, and transformation to this generation.

A New Season for the Hollywood Chapter

On accepting her new role, Pendergrass shared:

“I’m very excited and honored to be the new Connect Leader for the Hollywood–Los Angeles Chapter. God is raising up new leaders like yourselves. This is a time of upgrading and being elevated into your new season — a time to see your vision coming into fruition.”

Noemi X. Oliver, President of CWIMA, added:

We are thrilled to welcome LeaAnn Pendergrass as our new Connect Leader for the Hollywood–Los Angeles Chapter. Her decades of faithful ministry, her global media reach, and her heart for raising up the next generation of women in media make her the right leader for this moment. Hollywood is one of the most influential platforms in the world, and we believe LeaAnn’s anointing, vision, and authentic leadership will help our members step boldly into all God has called them to do.”
