Elizabeth Negrón Figueroa was born in Río Piedras, Puerto Rico. One of four sisters, Elizabeth was markedfrom an early age by a tender heart and a deep sensitivity to God’s presence.
Her family moved to Philadelphia during her early childhood, laterreturning to Puerto Rico and settling in San Lorenzo. By the age of nine,Elizabeth’s passion for God began to take root. She attended Bible school andjoined Cristo Misionera Church in Barrio Quebradas, where her spiritual journeybegan to blossom.
At twelve, she became part of El Tabor Church, and at fourteen, joinedthe Pentecostal M.I. Church in San Lorenzo. There, she served as a children’steacher and met her future husband, David Correa. They married in 1989 andtogether raised two children, Davielys and David Alexis, later becoming lovinggrandparents—including to one grandchild welcomed not by blood, but by choiceand love.
In 1998, Elizabeth joined Bethel Baptist Church, where she servedfaithfully for 17 years as a children’s teacher, worship leader, and treasurer.Since 2015, she has been a devoted member of Cathedral of Faith Church inCaguas, under the leadership of Moreh Walter Agosto. There, she continues toserve in the worship ministry, intercession team, and as leader of the women’sintercession group A Una Voz Respondiendo al Llamado.
She has also participated in concerts, cantatas, and music projects,including a recording with renowned psalmist Samuel Hernández. Elizabeth’s lifeis a beautiful reflection of faith, service, and a heart fully surrendered toGod.
