¡Una ruta de viaje no tradicional, una cita divina y una cosecha!

Ella creyó

John 4:3b-43: “He left Judea and went back once more to Galilee” but, on the way...

“Now he had to go through Samaria” Why?

Because one woman awaited deliverance!

Jews in that day did not associate with Samaritans, but Jesus did!  Five previous husbands yet living with a man who was not her husband, she was hopelessly bound within the culture, yet defined by the historical promises AND sins of her ancestors (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and later the leaders of Israel and Judea).

She came to the well, expecting no one; but Jesus was waiting.

“Tired as he was from the journey, in a town in Samaria called Sychar, near the plot of ground Jacob had given to his son, Joseph, he sat down by Jacob’s well at the sixth hour of the day.”

He asked for water, and in exchange offered her Living Water.

She was waiting. Knowledgeable of the historical relationship of God and her ancestors, Jacob and his sons, she explained, “One day ‘Messiah’ will come and explain everything to us. “

“I, the One speaking to you, am He!”

This was her DIVINE APPOINTMENT! and she believed!

Leaving her water jar, she ran to the town to tell everyone, “Come see a man who told me everything I ever did!”

They came, and many Samaritans believed because of her testimony.” At their urging, Jesus stayed two days with them. They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said: now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man is THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD.”

What a HARVEST!

Jesus’ Love Never Ceases!

His transcendent love and faithfulness are generation to generation, regardless of who, what or where.

Regardless of who you are, where you come from, or what you have done, this same JESUS who met the Woman at the Well, LOVES YOU and He will go to great lengths to reach you and answer your needs. Don’t be surprised by when and/or where He finds you.  Don’t miss your DIVINE APPOINTMENT.

Perhaps you long to know Jesus in adynamic powerful way as the Woman at the Well came to know him, and brought her community to Him? Acts9:31 even mentions a church of Samaria.

The great news is: You, too, may know THE SAVIOUR OF THE WORLD.

Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life.  He who believes in me will live; even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die."   (John 11:25)

 Do you believe this?

The even greater news is that whether you have need of Jesus’ living water today or are praying for the needs of someone you love, take great confidence and comfort in the fact that Jesus never changes!  The HARVEST is His.  Hebrews 5:14 records this fact, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

He waits, with His Living Water, to meet you at the well today – wherever your well may be.
